PHASE 1: The Leader WITHIN

No leader has earned the right to lead others before the leader has learned FIRST to lead themselves. Developing The Leader WITHIN is the key to leadership effectiveness. While IQ and technical skills might get you there, no other sets of skills, competencies, or technical expertise can replace this core leadership capability.

PHASE 2: The INFLUENTIAL Leader

Program Overview

Key to leadership effectiveness is their capacity and capability to achieve results AND work with and through others. This is what we call 10:10 leadership. To achieve both goals equally effectively requires outstanding communication and interpersonal skills. Leaders need to be able to work with and influence a wide range of stakeholders without the use of positional power (force) but based primarily on the use of personal, relationship, and knowledge power.

PHASE 3: The GENERATIVE Leader

Program Overview

In this program we learn WHY coaching is the most critical skill that any leader can master in order to ensure their own career success, the success of all those who report to them, and ultimately the success of the business. And we learn the practical skills of HOW to coach, mentor, teach, and provide feedback.

Coaching, Mentoring, Feedback, and Teaching are all Generative tools in that they exponentially grow the capabilities of all employees. It is through effective coaching that employees develop their critical thinking skills; and the intrinsic motivation to try new things, make new discoveries, make decisions, and learn from their decisions.

In this program we develop leaders’ capabilities to apply all the learning that has been acquired in the first two phases of THE SHIFT.
